How do I know if my vehicle is compatible?

Coastline Charging uses DC fast-charging equipment. If your electric vehicle has a DC fast-charging port (such as a CCS or CHAdeMO connector), it will be compatible with our service. In other words, if your EV can plug into a public DC fast-charging station, you’ll have no trouble charging with us. If you’re unsure, check your vehicle’s manual or specifications to confirm it supports DC fast charging.

What happens if I miss my session?

We know schedules can change unexpectedly. However, please note that the $40 flat fee paid at booking is non-refundable if you miss your charging session. This is because we reserve that time and a mobile charging unit for you. If you can’t make your session, let us know as soon as possible. While we cannot offer a refund for a missed appointment, we can discuss rescheduling to a better time that works for you.

Can I change my booking?

Yes – you can reschedule your charging session if your plans change. Simply contact us or use our online booking system to choose a new available time slot. Your $40 payment will carry over to the new session (you won’t be charged again), but it remains non-refundable. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible when you need to change a booking so we can accommodate everyone’s schedule.

What if I need an urgent charge?

If you need a charge urgently (for example, if you’re low on power and can’t wait for the next available booking), please call us right away. We handle urgent requests on a case-by-case basis and will do our best to send a mobile charging unit to you as soon as possible. Our team will prioritize emergency charging needs to help get you back on the road quickly.

How do you ensure on-time arrival?

We pride ourselves on being punctual. Our mobile charging units are strategically positioned throughout our service area so they can reach customers quickly. When you book a session, we dispatch the nearest available unit and plan the best route to your location. We also monitor traffic and road conditions in real time. By doing all this, we can reliably arrive at your location at the scheduled time.

What if I need to cancel?

If you decide to cancel your charging session, you can do so at any time. However, the $40 flat fee paid at booking is non-refundable even if you cancel. The reason is that we’ve already allocated a charging unit and time slot for you. The good news is we don’t charge any additional cancellation fees or penalties beyond the initial $40. You won’t owe anything else if you cancel, but you also won’t be refunded the original payment.

How is pricing determined?

Our pricing is simple and transparent. We charge a flat rate of $40 per session, which covers up to 25 kWh of electricity delivered to your vehicle. You pay this amount upfront when you book your session. There are no per-kilowatt-hour charges or hidden fees – whether you need a small top-up or a larger charge (up to 25 kWh), the price remains $40. This flat-fee model makes it easy to know exactly what you’ll pay for your charge.
